18-year-old Seon-oh dreams of a fresh start after the death of his abusive firefighter father, but his mother and older sister seem to have moved on. The character of Seon-oh is seemingly liberated while his abusive father dies while fighting a fire, but he finds himself in a quandary when his mother and sister insist that he forgive his father for his misdeeds. Seon-oh also associates with delinquent friends, and their collision with migrant workers propels him into a fateful cycle of violence
