Vera lives in a small town, works as a cashier in a bank and brings up her seven-year-old daughter Dasha alone, whom she has been afraid of losing since birth. At the age of three, Vera herself got lost at the train station and ended up in an orphanage. To this day, Vera does not give up trying to find her mother.
