It is about the loss of status and identity experienced by Yasmin and Halid in Turkey, who had to flee the war in Syria and leave their homeland. Halid, who works as a teacher in Syria, works as a shoe shiner in Turkey, and Yasmin works as a babysitter. After living alone in Turkey for a while, Yasmin takes steps to have her husband Halid come from Syria. When Halid reaches Turkey, the life he expected is not waiting for him. Halid and Yasmin struggle to obtain a temporary protection ID in Turkey.
