Seriál Letohrátky s dílny Walta Disneye nás přivádí do fiktivního města San Bambína, jež čelí neustálým náletům vzdušných pirátů vedených prohnaným lišákem Don Fanfánem. Tomu leží v žaludku především nebojácný špičkový pilot Balů se svým navigátorem Kidem Mrakošlapem. Balů se snaží získat zpět své letadlo Drakouše prací pro milou a ambiciózní Rebeku Kenninghemovou, přičemž zažívá nejedno dobrodružství. Rebeka žije sama s šestiletou dcerkou Molly. Nepostradatelnými postavami seriálu jsou také trochu podivínský, ale v podstatě geniální mechanik Siky a Balůův dlouholetý přítel opičák Lúďa.
